Angela Morgan Angela Morgan played basketball for Bismark State College in North Dakota, where she met an art professor who inspired her to pursue a career as an artist. She studied painting at universities in Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Calgary, and traveled through Europe and Mexico. She currently teaches painting, and is an active member of the Canadian arts community. Angela’s works have been shown in museums and galleries in both Canada and the United States. Her expressionistic style combines whimsical, abstract figures with bright colors and energetic brushstrokes. The mother of twins, she often chooses women and children as her subject matter. “It takes discipline to be an artist,” she says of her work, “but it’s so rewarding that it’s easy to do.” |
